Elegant and striking Japanned tray or cocktail table, French, mid-20th century, of Louis XV style in brilliant vermilion with gold. The top is hand paint decorated in Japanese manner with geese in flight, over the silver moon above the bulrushes in gold, silver and black. The top is protected with removable plate glass. The table measures 28" inches long x 18" inches wide x 18 1/4" inches high. The bottom is stamped France (as in photo).
