About the Item
This unique table was hand crafted in Italy for Andrew Kornat Designs in 2012 for a specific project in London, England. This is the prototype that Andrew kept for himself that is now available for sale as he is running of space to keep everything he's had made
Made completely by hand in the heart of Florence Italy, by an manufacturer specialising in Bronze and Brass metal work since 1963, who Andrew has known personally for over 25 years. The base is made up of 4 individual 30cm Diameter Hollow thick grade Spun Brass Balls with an internal brass structure to stop the balls from denting or being misshapen due to the weight of the glass.
The balls are designed such that they should be weighted at the base with and screw opening so that dry sand bags/ or weights can be put inside when on site to stop them rolling around. it was designed this way to minimise shipping cost by reducing the shipped weight. And the weight of the glass also helps the stability
The Balls can take substantially larger glass top than the one it is photographed with and we can ship the Balls without the glass shown for ease and reduction in delivery costs. If being bought overseas it advise that it would be sensible to purchase the glass top locally
We have listed the packed weight and dims without the glass shown by we can happily amend the shipping if you want the piece of Grey Glass
