Hermhaus is a contemporary design studio and manufacturer based in Istanbul, working at the intersection of furniture, sculpture, and architectural objects. In 2023, Hermhaus was awarded the EDIDA Young Designer Award, acknowledging its contribution to contemporary design and craftsmanship. Specializing in sculptural furniture and refined display objects, Hermhaus approaches each piece as an independent design rather than a purely functional product. Designs are informed by a wide range of influences, including contemporary and classical art movements, architecture, production methods, and fundamental geometric forms. All designs are developed in-house, with direct involvement in both design and manufacturing processes.
