About the Item

A handsome and most unique Italian 18th century Walnut, Wrought Iron, and Pietra Dura marble coffee table. This elegant coffee table is raised on 18th century hand forged Wrought Iron bases displaying a double 'D' shaped design below a double twisted square Iron support. The rectangular top showcases a sensationally scrolled and inlaid design of various marbles amidst Fleur de Lys like patterns. The extremely decorative and colorful inlaid marble plateau is surrounded by a Burl Walnut veneered border. The outer edge is in solid Walnut and finished with a handsome mottled design.
