Italian modern Coffee table Bogo by Carlo Bartoli for Rossi Di Albizzate, 1970s
Coffee table mod. Bogo with rectangular top and rounded corners. The top is covered in brown leather and has a rectangular glass plate in the center. The square base is covered in beige-caramel brown leather. Round feet.
Produced by Rossi Di Albizzate in 1970s and designed by Carlo Bartoli. It present plaque with the name of the production.
Vintage conditions. The leather shows numerous signs of age and use.
Measurements in cm 122.5x62x38h

Carlo Bartoli
Carlo Bartoli, born in Milan in 1931, is an Italian architect and designer. He created many successful works, such as the Gaia armchair, included in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum of the Milan Triennale. Bartoli was awarded the ADI Compasso d'Oro for Lifetime Achievement.

Supremely elegant and super rare coffee table by Milan architect Lorenzo Forges Davanzati, produced by ELAM,Italy in1961. This design was produced in two sizes this is the larger and rarer variant of an already extremely rare design.
The table is made of enameled wood with a decorative stainless steel insert to the pedestal. This table is very seldom seen and was published in Casa Vogue,Domus and the italian design bible "repertorio 1950-80".
The table has some minor losses to the original lacquer which can easily be touched in and refinished to blend in with the original lacquer.
In November 2009 the first major monograph on Forges Davanzati's architectural and design work was published.
