Large Axel Vervoordt Wabi Sabi Style Coffee Table, Europe, Mid 20th Century.
A wonderful large coffee table in a very distinct wabi sabi style - would fit magnificent in a wabi sabi / Axel Vervoordt style interior with natural or brutalist materials.
The table shows a slender and low profile and a modest yet elegant design in wood. Due to the openness of the frame - the planks in the middle are 'floating' in the frame - the table has a very open and airy appearance. Works wonderful together with natural materials and earthy colors. A stunning piece.
Comes in a very original condition with wear due to age and use.
