Qapu is a coffee table that is based on a modular unit crafted in solid Oak wood. The units can be arranged to create different table sizes and proportions, adapting to the needs of the space.
Its name references the 16th century Ali Qapu royal palace in Isfahan where arches and branching forms define the structure of its iconic music hall. The table uses the same formal language, it appears both geometric and natural in shape. With its rich details carved in wood and inviting proportions, it has a composed and elegant character.
Shown here is a squared versino made with four base modules. It has a black finish and uses a solid wood top with grooves that mark the positions of the modules beneath.
