About the Item
This exhibit in particular is a masterpiece by Lothar Klute: it consists of four glass panes that are firmly anchored in bronze. The tabletop, which is modeled after a flower blossom, literally blooms and rises on the organically grown base made of forged bronze.
Lothar Klute’s signature is visible on the base plate. The original certificate of authenticity from Lothar Klute is also still available.
A specific bronze alloy enabled the artist Lothar Klute to forge the bronze. The glass was produced using a specific melting process and specially adapted to the table.
