This elegant and slender cocktail table was crafted in France circa 1960 and is attributed to the esteemed Maison Baguès. The design features a blackened steel and bronze frame with a two-tone gun barrel and gilt finish, offering a striking balance of understated glamour and refined detail. The rectangular top is fitted with an inset glass surface that shows only minimal signs of wear. The table stands on four tapered legs terminating in finely cast gilt bronze feet, while the arched lower stretchers converge at a central turned bronze finial, hallmarks of the neoclassical inspiration often seen in Baguès designs. The proportions and craftsmanship evoke the Parisian sophistication and artisanal excellence that Maison Baguès has embodied since its founding in 1860.
