About the Item
A pupil of Diego Rivera, Genaro Alvarez is one of the most famous mosaic artist producing some of the most celebrated midcentury designs in Mexico. He mixed Mexican smalti and semiprecious stones into his mosaics creating works or art and furniture. This table is wrapped in a brass frame along with tapered legs with brass feet.
