Modern Industrial Oak and I-Beam Steel Base Coffee Table by Carlo Stenta

This modern organic record console by Carlo Stenta is made of multiple elm wood slabs milled from a single elm tree. The record console case features skillfully crafted dividers that are sized with exactitude, allowing one to move their fingers through the vinyl collection with ease. The base is charred to a rich black tone using Recovery’s modern interpretation of Shou Sugi Ban. Rounded black dowels made of the same elm are hand carved and inserted into the sides of the console; a design detail meant to include the foundation into the ‘aesthetic whole’ of the design.
