About the Item

Dutch Mid-Century, Modernist coffee table with handsome, black enameled metal frame, hand-woven white rattan basket and a glass top. Design is attributed to prolific post-war designer Dirk van Sliedregt for the Gebr. Jonkers company. The table features a white woven rattan lower basket that is perfect for placing magazines or other storage needs. In original condition with some visible wear including minor breakage and a chip in the glass top. Wear is consistent with its age and use.
