About the Item
This one-of-a-kind coffee table, entitled "Spheres
Quadrants" combines minimalist design and contrasting materials to make a unique functional piece of art. This coffee table was made by hand in our Roman atelier by KalaRara’s collective of artisans and craftsmen. The tabletop was created using ground Murano glass crystals and fragments arranged by hand and set in place with an extra-clear acrylic resin on a base of reclaimed wood. An inset panel of extra-clear tempered glass covers and protects the tabletop creating a scratch resistant surface. The handmade table base is in itself a work of art. The rich hues of the tabletop are offset by the table’s stainless steel structure hand -polished to a mirror finish. The entire piece rests on an inset base of mirror polished stainless steel, which protects against scuffing and simultaneously gives the impression of the table hovering ever so slightly above the floor. The "Spheres
Quadrants” coffee table is a functional work of art and comes with a certificate of authenticity certifying the piece to be one-of-a-kind and 100% made by hand in Rome, Italy.
KalaRara was founded in Rome in 2018 with the express intent of preserving, utilising and promoting the artistry of Roman craftsmen. The company designs and produces one-of-a-kind and limited edition luxury furnishings, all handmade by Roman master craftsmen and artisans. Our made-by-hand, in-house production along with the use of the finest materials gives us the ability to create unique luxury furnishings of impeccable craftsmanship and quality.
