COD-1717 Melchiorre Bega Rare coffee table with turned wooden legs and brass cross, thick cut glass top. Bega&Co. manufacture, Bologna, around 1950. Melchiorre Bega (1898-1976) trained as an architect and later became a designer. He is well known for his very well detailed functionalist and modern design. Bega rejected the Art Deco style that prevailed at the time.
