A rare and highly sought-after coffee table by renowned Belgian interior designer and antique dealer Axel Vervoordt, dating from the 1980s. This powerful and restrained design perfectly embodies Vervoordt’s early aesthetic philosophy, in which material honesty, patina, and architectural proportion take precedence over ornament. Made out from richly bamboo wood, the table features a thick, low rectangular top resting on two sculptural block supports in wenge, creating a grounded and monolithic presence.
