About the Item
An incredible design from iconic and dramatic Mid Century designer James Mont (1904-1978). The Table has a trefoil base with Silver Leaf and Lacquer Metallic Bronze with open sides featuring full surround beading worn to reveal the Salmon tone sizing which was required to hold the Metallic finish. The table base is surmounted by a .25” thick piece of delicately beveled glass.
Dimensions: 15.5” high by 36” diameter.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Both top and base have wear including finish losses and scratches to both as well as some edge chips to the glass top. Despite the wear the Table retains a striking and dramatic Mid Century presentation.
