About the Item
This elegant round table is a superb example of furniture craftsmanship from the first half of the 19th century, manufactured in Austria. The table features a classic silhouette supported by a robust central pedestal with a tripartite base, ensuring perfect stability. The entire surface is finished with premium walnut veneer, where the book-matched grain on the tabletop creates a striking decorative pattern, typical of the highest quality pieces from this era.
As part of the professional restoration process, the original wood polish was sensitively revived, restoring the walnut veneer’s depth and its warm, honey-toned hue. The careful renovation focused on preserving the historical patina while reinforcing the entire frame, which is now exceptionally stable and solid. The table is thus ready for immediate use as a prestigious centerpiece, highlighting the elegance of any historical interior.
The original polish has been revived, highlighting the beauty and grain of the wood and ensuring the table long-lasting quality.
It has been re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process.
