About the Item

Rustic Chinese coffee table from the Qing period, made of solid elm wood. Solid construction with a rectangular form and a dark burgundy lacquered surface. The table shows natural age-related patina. The front features three deep drawers, each fitted with brass ring pulls mounted on stylised backplates. Shanxi Province, Qing period, circa 1830–1840.
