Rustic Trestle Coffee Table in Solid Oak, Late 19th Century.
This solid oak coffee table with very decorative trestle legs comes from the late 19th century is a robust and charming piece.
The tabletop is thick and substantial, featuring visible wood grain and natural imperfections. The surface has a rich, warm patina, indicative of its age and the quality of the oak wood used in its construction. The base of the table is designed in a classic trestle style, with two sturdy supports on either side, connected by a central stretcher. The X-shaped trestle bases are intricately shaped with curved, scroll-like details that give the table a subtle decorative touch, balancing the otherwise straightforward and functional design. The table show signs of wear very relatable to age and use.
