Chrome sculptural coffee or cocktail table by Knut Hesterberg produced by Ronald Schmitt, Germany, circa 1960 and composed of expressive brass parts. An iconic design from the 1960s and still relevant today.
Very good condition with small traces of usage. The base is re-polished and in an excellent condition. Original glass we can also deliver with new. Please note that we can customize any size of glass tabletop for this table at low rates.
The depicted top measures: 49.2". 17.71 in, height 45 cm height diameter 36.61 in. (93 cm).

Knut Hesterberg
Knut Hesterberg is a world-famous German sculptor who started his career at a graphic art and design studio in Zurich, Switzerland, where he came into contact with the architect and artist Max Bill, who had a great influence on his future work. He has exhibited his sculptures all-over Europe, and many of his large-scale sculptures are permanently installed in public spaces throughout Germany and a few in Italy.
