About the Item

Coffee table 'Shilling' designed by Giovanni Ausenda, Guido Baldo Grossi Gianni Gavioli for NY Form of Bologna in the 1970s. Amazing gold colored table with a smoked mirror top that is divided into four sections by gold bands. This table gets a green/blue gloss on the glass depending on how the light falls. The central square can be used as a dry bar or a space for flowers or other decorations. This table has a "floating effect", created by the low mirrored surface on a black laminated base. The table is in very good condition with only small fading due to its age. The mirror surfaces have no chips. Table published in: 'Repertorio del Design Italiano per l`Arredamento Domestico 1950-2000' by Giuliana Gramigna, Volume 1 page 181 published by Umberto Allemandi Co.
