The table legs feature a unique cut and bent construction that creates a simple yet sculptural expression.
Available in two sizes in a variety of high gloss and natural finishes, Shim’s graphic elegance makes it suitable for a wide variety of private and office environments.
HAY focuses on developing long-lasting products that minimize our environmental
impact. We optimize the use of sustainable materials such as recycled materials, FSC-certified wood and water-based lacquer, with a growing number of eco-certified products.
We have strict regulatory requirements, and the majority of our products are
tested to comply with international standards for strength, durability and safety.

DESIGNER / JONAS TRAMPEDACH
Designer Jonas Trampedach was born in Denmark in 1974. He studied Design at Denmark’s Design school in 2004, followed by a Master’s degree in Design Products at the Royal College of Art in London in 2009. After moving back to Copenhagen in 2010, Jonas established his own studio, where he produces furniture and products in his own designs as well as working on collaborations with other design companies. For HAY, Jonas has developed Cornet Bar Stool, Type Chair and Shim Coffee Table.
