Tue Poulsen Ceramic and Oak Coffee Table made by Haslev in Denmark around 1960
Beautiful artwork coffee tables designed by Tue Poulsen for Haslev Møbelsnedkeri A/S, Denmark 1960. This well-crafted coffees table has a dark brown stained teak wooden frame and rim, inset with incised, hand painted bright glazed ceramic tiles in blue, brown, maroon, mustard, cream, rust and brown. Due to the carvings in the tiles, the coffee table has a great textured surface which adds an overall character to the design..
We have two tables in stock, of the same model, like a rare pair with 2 different shape that can be used in different ways.
These tables can be sold together or separately. The price of the oval shaped table ( H 50 cm L: 120cm l : 83 cm) is €2,900, and the price of the triangular shaped table ( H:50 cm L 45cm l 83 cm) is €1,400.
Theses tables are signed on a ceramic tile by artists signature “TUE DK” and stamped underneath by Haslev. The 2 tables are in good original condition.
