About the Item
This is a really Grand piece. Likely hailing from Connecticut, Circa 1790 to 1810. The impressive top, a single Board of pine, measuring in at just over 100 in. This item retains all of its original surface patina. This table which later on became a work table, has had the most beautiful little Vice which was added to it at some point in the 1830s. Two of the corners have beautiful hand hammered strap iron braces that are applied to them with rose head nails. This item retains its entire history. Extremely strong and ready to use. This could work as a server, console table, Library table, very narrow dining table, a sofa table, you name it this piece has multiple uses. You will be hard-pressed to find another one of this size with a single board top anytime soon.
