An exceptional 18th century French Louis XV giltwood wall console, hand-carved in richly detailed relief with exquisite Rococo motifs. This refined piece, created during the reign of King Louis XV, showcases the elegance and movement typical of the period with deeply sculpted acanthus leaves, floral carvings, and graceful asymmetrical scrolls.
The console retains its original dark marble top, shaped in a serpentine curve that complements the ornate base. The frame is masterfully carved in wood and finished in gold leaf, giving the piece a luminous, regal presence.
