The sculptural monkey supports a glass top, combining whimsical figurative form with functional furniture in the playful, eclectic spirit characteristic of 1980s postmodern design. Stands 30 inches high with a glass top measuring 21 by 25 inches. Cast plaster construction allows for detailed modeling of the monkey form, with surface texture and features molded into the material. The plaster shows age-appropriate wear and patina from decades of use, with chip to the lower lip as shown. Glass top provides a transparent surface that keeps the sculptural base visible while offering practical table function.
