This elegant Biedermeier demi-lune console table was crafted in Southern Germany around 1820 and represents the pure, balanced design of the early 19th century. The table features a beautifully curved half-moon shape with a solid walnut top and a veneered apron, highlighting the warm color and vivid grain typical of the period. The tapered legs emphasize the light and refined proportions characteristic of authentic Biedermeier furniture.
The piece has been carefully restored and hand-polished, giving the surface a deep natural sheen. The tabletop shows subtle traces of historical, inactive woodworm, which add character without affecting stability. Structurally solid and ready for use, this table stands in very good restored condition.
