About the Item

This handsome library table with two drawers rests on simple carved legs and trestle base. The base has been given a newer, professionally applied black painted finish and is lightly distressed revealing the natural wood below while complimenting the contrasting top which was left natural. Note photos of the top revealing generations of use, including scratches, gouges, dried old wormholes, stains, etc. that all add aged character of this console. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the appeal nor function of this heavy console table.
