About the Item

A lovely 19th-century walnut console table. The rectangular top features an attractive gadrooned edge and floral detailing at the corners, with a generously sized drawer for storage. It is supported by beaded stiles at the rear and elegant C-scroll legs at the front, separated by a beautifully contoured shelf. The base mirrors the shelf above and offers additional space for storage or display. The table stands on angled lion's paw feet. In good condition for its age, with the veneers intact. It has an old shrinkage split on the top, which could easily be filled if desired.
