About the Item
Designed by Tadashi Murase, the Aluminum Wavy Table is a minimalist table defined by a gently undulating tabletop and a restrained structural system. Constructed from aluminum honeycomb panels, the table combines material efficiency with a precise, lightweight appearance.
The softly contoured top introduces a subtle sense of movement, contrasting with the strict verticality of the slender legs. This balance between fluid form and structural clarity gives the table a calm yet distinctive presence. The tabletop is finished in anodised aluminum, emphasizing its smooth surface and material character, while the legs are painted to provide a quiet visual separation between plane and support.
Both functional and sculptural, designed to operate as a working surface while also reading as a spatial object.
You can use this table as a desk as well.
Each piece is made to order in Japan and reflects Murase’s ongoing interest in geometry, material honesty, and controlled variation within simple forms.
