About the Item
Antique French Directoire Neoclassical Mahogany Console with Carrara Marble is ideal for the efficient floorplan, or for adding a nice finishing touch to any room, including hallways, stairwell landings and entryways. Only 14 inches deep, its concave sides make it very traffic friendly, while the luxurious marble top makes an excellent surface for small decorative displays or photos. A shelf above the floor adds display surface. Four tapered legs tipped with brass feet support the shelf and casework above, which features a drawer fitted with a brass knob and lined in velvet. The brass jalouse panels atop the legs add a nice accent touch, a pierced brass gallery rail around the entire marble top.
