Questa consolle bassa a giorno è un esempio emblematico del funzionalismo razionale e dell’estetica modulare sviluppata da Charlotte Perriand tra la fine degli anni ’40 e gli anni ’50. Il mobile rappresenta una configurazione orizzontale del celebre sistema “Nuage” (Nuvola), un progetto che ha ridefinito l’arredamento flessibile per l’epoca moderna, e oggi rieditato da Cassina. Il design è definito dalla sua essenzialità costruttiva: tre ripiani rettangolari in legno chiaro, che offrono una superficie calda e naturale, sono bilanciati da due montanti verticali con finitura nera opaca. Il mobile è caratterizzato da linee pulite e volumi minimali, rendendolo estremamente versatile.
