About the Item

A vintage Chinese lacquered wood dressing table with stand up mirror and drawers from the first half of the 20th century. This Chinese vanity desk features a three-piece hinged rectangular top, made of two panels that open to reveal small storage compartments, ideal to organize makeup. The central section conceals a stand up mirror. The section below is made of two faux drawers and three drawers with brass hardware. The grand simplicity of the lines is beautifully contrasted by the intricate fretwork motifs of the lower shelf. With its pure lines and dark lacquered finish, this Chinese dressing table circa 1910-1950 will bring a touch of elegance to any home, particularly in a bedroom.
