Console by Syrie Maugham
About the Item
The six drawer console features a serpentine bowed front with flairing cabriole legs ending in scrolled feet. The front is relief carved in large circular patterns over the beautifully matched mahogany grain which is bleached to perfection. The hardware is detailed cast bronze and the top cream, pink and grey breche marble cut to match the flairing shape of the case. Every aspect of this magnificent piece is custom made to perfection, a beautiful melding of French 18th Century elegance and Syrie Maugham's light, white and crisp 1940s modernism.
