About the Item
Opulent baroque style console table featuring a honed French limestone top designed by Dennis and Leen Hollywood, CA. The dramatic table measures over 6 feet long. The thick French limestone top has a gracefully scalloped, or serpentine form with a thick gilt wood conforming ogee edge. The top is supported by an elegant base crafted from large scrolls of hand-carved beech wood. The wood has an intentionally heavily distressed patina on the warm gold leaf and painted finish providing a contrast to the smooth limestone top. Solid and heavy crafted in the romantic California style with an amazing profile, scale, and presence. Located in California ready to ship and install. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
