About the Item

Early 19th-century Spanish chestnut console table with carved drawers, turned legs, and stretcher base. Two drawers, each fitted with two drop pulls and an old skeleton key (locks non-functioning). Restored, strong, and stable, ideal as a writing table or elegant console. Handsome color and grain highlighted by age. Eight triangular inlaid inserts decorate the top. Old gouges, cracks, and repairs consistent with use.
