About the Item

Hand-forged in France in the 1940's this half-moon console pairs sculptural ironwork with a warm Rosso Verona marble top. The iron frame mounts neatly to the wall and shows a gentle pattern of scrolls—detailed enough to feel special, understated enough to sit easily in a modern room. The polished marble is a deep terra-cotta red, threaded with soft blush and ash veining that brings quiet movement to the surface. The console is slim enough for an entry yet sturdy enough to hold a statement lamp or favorite sculpture. Use it to add a graceful note of French craftsmanship—and an inviting place to drop keys or flowers—to any hallway or living space. Condition: Overall very good vintage condition. The Rosso Verona marble top is unattached and rests securely on the iron base; it shows no visible chips or cracks. The hand-forged iron frame is structurally sound, with a rich, dark patina and light surface wear consistent with age. Three mounting holes are present at the rear for wall installation.
