About the Item
A splendid gilt and ebonized pier table, probably oak, with custom marble top, berry
scroll decoration and winged caryatid supports. The piece is probably Italian in origin, starting as a base for a larger cabinet, and most likely dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. Very good overall condition, with some surface paint and gilt losses, rubs, and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 33 in H x 70 in W x 19.25 in D. Ref: 8
