An Italian Baroque style walnut console table from the 18th century, with marquetry geometric top and carved base. Created in Italy during the 18th century, this walnut table draws our immediate attention with its rectangular top adorned with an exquisite décor or marquetry depicting geometric concentric circles. Framed with cross banding, this top is resting on a handsome base made of four carved legs connected to one another through an X-Form cross stretcher of similar style. Boasting great character and a nice patina revealing its good age and use, this Italian Baroque style walnut console table with marquetry décor from the 18th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, perhaps placed in a living room or study.
