About the Item

A superb and most decorative Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated Wood, Giltwood and Breccia Pernice marble console. This wonderful console is raised by four tapered fluted legs decorated by acanthus leaves and Vitruvian scroll motif leading up into an ionic capitol adorned with a centered rosette. Stunning scrolled reserves sit above each leg and support the mottled and Giltwood Greek Key designed apron. Above is an intricately detailed Les Oves border framing the spectacular Breccia Pernice marble top.
