About the Item
An Italian pair of carved-wood wall mounted console tables from the mid-20th century. This vintage pair of tables from Italy each feature a beautifully scalloped edge top above an elaborately pierce-carved wood skirt (which houses a single drawer at it's front), and raised upon a pair of legs which gracefully bow outward and join together at their ankles with a carved acanthus leaf between them. Legs are reminiscent of a delicate cabriole style, with carved foliage motif adorning them. Coloring of these pieces is primarily white, with a lovely aged patina, traces of gilt, and areas of natural wood showing through in various areas. This attractive pair of Italian carved wood display tables must be mounted to a wall, therefore feet need not touch the floor for support, allowing for various height options depending upon your needs.
