About the Item

An Italian console table of striking composition, dating back to the 18th-century. Crafted from ebonized wood, its architectural frame is defined by turned legs and an elegant central stretcher, lending a stately presence. A frieze of inset marble—vermilion, forest green, and onyx—cuts through the depth of the frame. An inset breccia marble complements the design, veined in deep green, gray, and ivory. Condition: In great vintage condition, with natural age-related wear along the wood frame. This console can be screwed into the wall for extra support but is sturdy enough to stand on its own.
