An Italian console or corner desk from the 1950s, defined by its asymmetrical profile. The walnut top is cut into a sharp, angular form, cantilevering lightly over a geometric base of blackened metal rods. The play of negative space lends the piece an architectural, airy silhouette.
Designed to float in a corner or along a wall, it’s equally at home as a writing desk in a studio, a console in an entryway, or a sculptural accent in a living space.
Condition: Great vintage condition. The walnut top shows light surface wear and minor marks consistent with use. Minor scuffs and small areas of oxidation to the metal base.
