About the Item

Originally part of a French balcony, this late nineteenth century hand forged iron console table with beveled marble top was acquired from a chateau in the Loire Valley. The iron base features intricate scrolling with a Vitruvian scrolling pattern in the upper section. The sides are detailed with wrought iron X supports. A handsome piece for use inside or outside c. 1880.
