About the Item

Found in Italy, this console dates from approximately 1960. This demi-lune shaped console is made of a blond wood (we are guessing maple or beech) and features contrasting rosewood veneer on the top of the base and table. Two shallow functional drawers with original brass pulls. Other decorative details include applied brass stars, a solid back and carved, delicate openwork leg supports. Unknown maker. Very good overall vintage condition with minor scattered surface wear.
