About the Item
The antique French console table carved and gilt overall, the top with incurved ends and covered with an ecru damask fabric under the black conforming marble top. With an inset apron decorated with leafy bands, leaf motifs at the corners and a central wreath. Raised on tall fluted tapering circular legs with leaves at the tops and ending in shaped feet. An angular serpentine stretcher reaches toward the back horizontal stretcher with a large elegant and delicately carved twin handled urn with flame finial in the center.
Dimensions: 48 1/2" wide x 19 1/2" deep x 33" high
Condition: Please review the detail photos. Various signs of age and use include some wear and losses to the gilt finish on the top and the stretcher finial with some scratches and acceptable wear to the stone mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is extraordinary.
