This handsome pair of 19th-century Borghese-finish consoles exemplify classic Italian artistry. Each console is topped by rich serpentine marble above a cartouche carved frieze. Gracefully curving cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaves cascade downward to fine hoof-feat. An elegant stretcher featuring carved florals attaches at the middle with a central floral finial. The aged Borghese-finish offers a striking contrast against the vibrant serpentine marble tops embodying the timeless style typical of Italian furnishings of the time.
