About the Item
An elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated Wood and Vert Campan marble consoles. Each stunning console showcases an off white/light grey patination while raised by two patinated block feet below the fluted legs, and joined by a patinated stretcher displaying a central rosette flanked by pierced designs. The flutes of each leg are accented with chandelles and lead to P shaped reserves displaying oval carved motifs with foliate rosettes above pierced acanthus leaf branches. The apron above showcases an elegant curved central design with a fluted band below a beaded and Rais de Coeur upper trim. The curved apron conceals two central drawers separated by a central keyhole locking both drawers at the same time. Above lay the attractive and original Vert Campan marble tops with mottled edges.
