About the Item
A sensational and high quality pair of Italian 18th century Baroque st. consoles from the Lombardi region. The consoles are raised by scalloped shaped faux painted malachite and giltwood bases with a stunning hammered design. Each display elegant cabriole legs with an X shaped stretcher and richly carved scrolled and foliate patterns. At the intricately carved scalloped shaped frieze are exceptionally pierced scrolls and swaging floral movements. Above is the original Blue Turquin marble top.
