The Fusion wall console is a singular demonstration of wood virtuosity combined with contemporary design. The lightness and smoothness of this console is a unique piece signed by cabinetmaker and designer Pierre Renart. Showcasing the full mastery of his craft, this wall console creates the illusion of a simple line carved from a single, continuous piece of wood.
Crafted from American walnut wood, this wall artwork is both sculptural and functional. This console can be used as either as a beautiful shelf for displaying an other artwork, as well as a central decorative piece for a wall. The specificity of this wood is displaying a warm elegant shade, creating intricate motives and subtly following the console’s flowing curves. The wood ribbons of the curve are enhancing its sense of movement and lightness.
This work belongs to a collection of furniture tables and consoles called “Fusion” created by Pierre Renart. Each piece is entirely handmade in France, signed by the artist and unique. Customisation is available upon request: dimensions can be adapted to the intended space; a different essence of wood may be selected according to preference.

Pierre Renart
Pierre Renart (born 1990, France) is an artist, designer, and cabinetmaker, graduating as Valedictorian from the École Boulle in 2011. A tireless explorer of materials, he combines traditional woodworking expertise with advanced technologies, pushing the boundaries of contemporary furniture design.
His work is distinguished by the elegance of its lines and the seamless integration of function and form. Pierre Renart quickly gained recognition among collectors, notably with his iconic Genesis armchair. His practice spans bespoke furniture and spatial design projects for collectors, architects, decorators, and professionals.
In 2019, his Möbius Console entered the permanent collections of the MAD – Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, where it is displayed in the Marsan Pavilion. The Mobilier National acquired several of his works between 2020 and 2023, including pieces from the Ruban and Genèse collections. Since 2017, Pierre Renart has been based near Blois, France, where his large, state-of-the-art workshop enables him and his team to realise ambitious, large-scale projects.
